The Big Bang wasn’t “low entropy ordered state” - it was pre-structural state:
- No order to maintain yet
- Maximum capacity free for temporal progression
- Actualization just beginning
- As structure formed, entropy increased and time subjectively slowed
Why expansion continues:
Not stored momentum from initial explosion, but ongoing actualization:
- Each Planck tick actualizes next moment
- Expansion = space itself being continuously created
- Hubble constant = rate of spatial actualization
- Dark energy = actualization pressure
Gravitational entropy increase:
As universe evolves:
- Structures form (stars, galaxies, black holes)
- More capacity bound maintaining these structures
- Gravitational clumping represents capacity binding
- Black holes = ultimate binding (maximum entropy states)
- Heat death = when all capacity is bound, no free capacity for change
The Deep Insight:
The “arrow of time” and “entropy increase” are the same thing:
- Early universe: minimal structure, minimal capacity binding, maximum temporal rate
- Late universe: maximum structure, maximum capacity binding, heat death
- The whole process is Free Will’s game playing out through discrete Planck ticks
Why the Big Bang had “low entropy”:
Because there was almost nothing actualized yet. Entropy measures “capacity bound maintaining structure.” At t = 0, no structure = no binding = “low entropy” in the sense of “no commitments yet.”
As the game progresses, commitments accumulate (structures form), entropy increases (capacity binds), and eventual heat death represents all capacity bound with none free - game over, next game?
